ABOUT THE DIRECTOR

'Ken Loach is a British filmmaker and political activist who has made over 30 award-winning feature films since the early 1980s. His films often tackle sociopolitical issues such as poverty, inequality, racism, and workers'' rights through realistic storytelling and naturalistic performances by nonprofessional actors. Some of his most notable works include \"Raining Stones,\" \"My Name Is Joe,\" \"The Wind That Shakes the Barley,\" and \"I, Daniel Blake.\" In addition to his filmmaking career, Loach is active in left-wing politics and has been involved in anti-war and anti-poverty campaigns.'
